WOW!! My shipment of books just arrived today from Kansas City Star. I didn't have time to look at all of them but managed to sit down with Maggie Bonanomi's new Comfort Zone, and have given it my "Certified OMG" stamp of approval!! Now that I've seen and read parts of the book, it's clear that "Comfort Zone" has two meanings: the book is filled with comforting, comfortable, primitive projects for the home, but Maggie also describes leaving her "comfort zone" and working with colors and materials she wouldn't ordinarily reach for in her creative pursuits. She urges us to expand out of our own comfort zones and grow creatively as well. I'm sure you'll all agree!
